The Indian women’s cricket team, after clinching the Women’s Cricket World Cup, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi today in New Delhi. The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s residence, where he warmly welcomed the players and congratulated them for their remarkable achievement.
Prime Minister Modi praised the team for their exceptional performance, dedication, and sportsmanship. He said that the entire nation is proud of the women cricketers who have brought glory to India at the global stage.
During the interaction, the Prime Minister spoke individually with the players, applauding their hard work and encouraging them to continue inspiring the next generation of girls to pursue sports.
